About Alexander Rybak's performance and violin: Eurovision does not allow live instruments, so what you hear is playback. HOWEVER, he does indeed play it on stage, you can sometimes hear it when he is close to the mic when he starts to play the violin. And you can also see the ''hair'' on his bow string once the song is finished (which is not there at the start of the performance)

Strange that half of all songs were from 2022 considering that Eurovision has been around for almost 70 years? Okay, you can understand that there wasn't YouTube and such 60 years ago, but why have people watched so much more of this year's edition than other years?

Armenias song ‘Snap’ by Rosa Linn actually came 20th in the competition and the song done a lot better in the charts.
And that guy from Norway can play the violin like that yes - but as one commenter said apparently they can’t play live instruments during the contest 🤷♂️
Chanel (SloMo) is one of the best performances hands down in my opinion to ever grace the Eurovision stage! Absolute perfection and she should have won!!! Loreen is the best winner of all-time though.
