I've had a Super Famicom along with the mouse for quite a while, so... This Playthrough will show the entire main game and all 100 of its levels. In this video, we complete Level 10, Wario Tei, and watch the game's ending! This took me HOURS to complete, all because you have to start over from Level 9 if you get a Game Over. While I'm not doing the EXTRA stages, I wanted to show off the music and background for them, so I entered the first stage. A question for the viewers: What would you do if Wario dropped a bucket on your head?

This particular scenario Vinny laid out whilst playing Super Mario Land 2 really hit me. After a week or so voila! Just barely missing February but oh well... I freaking LOVED drawing Wario, his sinister grin is just such a treat. Lots of much needed lip practice in this'un too. Ending music: "Family - Super Mario Galaxy"
TITLE: Mario & Wario DEVELOPER: Game Freak PLATFORM: Super Famicom YEAR: 1993 PLOT/GAMEPLAY: A rather unknown side-scrolling puzzle game released in Japan only (although yes, the in-game language is entirely in english) sold primarly to advertise the Super Famicom Mouse accessory, "Mario & Wario" allows the player to control Wanda the fairy who needs to guide Mario (who became sightless after one of Wario's many pranks) through various mazes until he reaches Luigi at the end of every screen. The object of each level is, of course, not letting Mario fall into any of the hazards placed through his course. Although the difficulty ramps up during the final stages, the game is overall a fairly easy puzzle, characterized by happy and colorful graphics which are common in lighthearted SNES games; in addition to Mario, which represents the "Normal" difficulty and character speed, the player can also choose to guide Princess Peach (slow character, "Easy" mode) and Yoshi (fast character, "Hard" mode). There are 10 levels each world, and 9 worlds plus an extra one, unlockable after every other one has been cleared. Collectibles scattered along the course can be coins, which Wanda can click from the green blocks (each 100 coins the player's awarded with a 1UP); four stars, usually placed in almost-hard to reach places which can help rack up points (and give out 1UPs if the player collects them all) and mushrooms, which restore the timer. Levels, in fact, must be completed within a time limit, and the extra unused seconds count towards the high score at the end of a screen. There's also a bonus stage each world completion which allows to beat the hell out of Wario! Each world presents its own scenery, blocks and enemies. World 1 mainly contains normal and timed blocks. PART 1 CONTAINS LEVELS FROM WORLD 1 ONLY. Before passing on to other titles, I feel like my channel should have this one in its playlist. For me, it's a classic among Super Famicom puzzle games, and with my new computer I can actually use the mouse in order to play this, just like it was originally meant to be played. The premise is still silly as I remembered, but who cares: it's fun. As for Wanda, after this game she probably got engaged with a green-haired fairy and went on to have a carreer in the animation industry. :V Puzzle Bubble will be uploaded as soon as I'm done with this! My jaw just dropped as soon as I heard that and I think we might see Wario as a cameo in the movie since as of today, there’s not a single footage of Wario to be found anywhere in the trailer or their ads. Did you know that during the development of Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga, the Starbeans Café cutscenes originally included cameos from other video game franchises? Found in the game's files were sprites and written dialogue for Wario, Star Fox, Samus from the Metroid series, Olimar from the Pikmin series, and even Link from The Legend of Zelda series. These scenes would play when you create a new drink instead of the E. Gadd sequences, but they were cut at some point during development for an unknown reason. Here's some more info on the cut content of the game: 🤍 This animation uses the found dialogue and sprites to imagine what this cameo would look like if it were included in the final game. This is NOT a rom hack, nor are the motion paths, music, sound effects, or Mario bros' reactions based on evidence from the game's files. This is just an animation, created in after effects, imagining what this cutscene would look like if it were running on the game's engine. The animation was originally created in the Gameboy Advance's native 240x160 resolution, using reference videos and screenshots to make the sprite placements as accurate as possible, then scaled up to 4K.
