At the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) convener Arvind Kejriwal roadshow in Surat, Gujarat, on Monday, a security breach was reported. At first, it was claimed that a stone had been hurled at Kejriwal's electoral rally as it crossed a city street. The sources claims that Kejriwal's convoy was attacked with stones from a street. From the top of his car, Kejriwal was waving towards the crowd, then the stone-pelting began abruptly. Stone throwers and AAP supporters also got into a fight. Arvind Kejriwal went inside his car as the stone-throwing began, and when his safety was once more assured, he returned and resumed the roadshow. Before beginning his address, Arvind Kejriwal told the traders, "I Love You." According to Kejriwal, every businessman is a diamond in my eyes. He claimed that no one should encounter any difficulties having the government complete their work. In response to the assault, Kejriwal stated that, "They will break my eye. Have I done someone wrong? I say that I will build schools and hospitals. Show me the works done by you, do not abuse".
